Bartnik Kamil

Kamil Bartnik studied guitar art with Iwona Bodziak MA (State Primary and Secondary Music School in Sanok), Prof. Piotr Zaleski (Academy of Music in Wroclaw) and Prof. Luis Ignatius Gall (Conservatorium Hogeschool in Enschede, Netherlands), and improved his skills at many guitar courses in Poland and abroad with outstanding virtuosos and composers.

 

He is a laureate and winner of many prestigious guitar competitions. He has given concerts solo and in ensembles. He has collaborated with many symphony and chamber orchestras as a soloist and orchestra member. He performs 19th-century repertoire on a period instrument. He has 3 CDs to his credit. In his activity he uses string instruments related to the guitar (banjo, mandolin, timple). He is a certified teacher, he runs a guitar class in the Jadwiga Szajna - Lewandowska State Primary Music School in Oława.

 

Kamil Bartnik is a laureate of composition competitions (Katowice - chairman of the jury Witold Lutosławski, Bielsko - Biała). He has over 80 compositions in his portfolio (including works for solo guitar, for two guitars, for chamber ensembles and guitar concerts). He has presented many compositions during concerts in the country and abroad, and during the guitar courses in Szczawno Zdrój and the "Eurochain" festival in Heek (Germany). He willingly improvises during his own concerts.
