Born in Wrocław: Adam – December 6, 1971; Marek – January 22, 1974.They began their guitar studies at the Primary Music School (PSM I) in Opole in the class of LucynaJanowska, and later continued their education at the Secondary Music School (PSM II) under Prof. Tadeusz Wybraniec.In 1994 Adam received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art.Both are graduates of the Instrumental Faculty of the Academy of Music in Wrocław, where they studied guitar in the class of Prof. Tadeusz Wybraniec.Between 1986 and 1997 they won prizes at the most important Polish guitar competitions: in Strzelce Krajeńskie (1986, 1988), Cieszyn (1989), Żory (1992, 1993), Gdańsk (1990, 1991, 1993), Kraków (1994, 1995) and Tychy (1996).Since 1997, after winning the Grand Prix at the International Chamber Ensembles Festival “Ghitaralia” in Przemyśl, they have performed extensively in Poland and abroad in various instrumental ensembles. Their repertoire includes both works by great masters and their own original compositions. Their ability to combine classical music with lighter repertoire – enriched with a generous sense of humor – has become their trademark and has earned them a wide circle of admirers and enthusiasts.As composers, accompanists and arrangers they collaborated for many years with artists associated with the literary song tradition, including Jarosław Wasik, the group Semplice, the ensemble Bez Nas Wy, Magda and Mariusz Łazar-Massier, Krzysztof Rogacewicz and Paweł Sikora. Together with these artists they recorded a total of seven CD albums.They teach guitar at music schools: Adam – at the Primary Music School in Żary and the Primary and Secondary Music School in Żagań; Marek – at the Primary and Secondary Music School in Jelenia Góra and the Primary Music School in Cieplice.Adam serves as a consultant for the Centre for Arts Education (CEA), while Marek is a CEA expert in teacher professional advancement.Their students have won more than 200 awards at national and international guitar competitions.The teaching work of both brothers has been repeatedly recognized and awarded by the Centre for Arts Education and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.

D. Pujol, F. Kleynjans and L. Almeida.
