Mateusz Meisner

MATTHEW MEISNER

Pianist and chamber musician, pedagogue, culture and art animator, music producer. Laureate of international piano competitions, including those in Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic and Ružomberok in Slovakia.

 

He graduated from the Institute of Music at the Jan Długosz Academy in Częstochowa in the piano class of Maciej Zagórski and the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the piano class of Magdalena Lisak and Łukasz Trepczyński. He has honed his skills during many piano courses and workshops conducted by outstanding pedagogues and pianists, including Markus Prause and Victor Portnoy.

 

The artist performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician. Among other things, he co-founded an instrumental duo with his brother, Jarek Meisner (trombone), as well as an instrumental-vocal duo with Agnieszka Wisniewska-Rak (soprano). He lectures at conferences organized in the country and abroad. He is the author of publications on the piano teaching process, as well as the influence of music on the development of the young person.

 

Chief organizer of piano courses at the Rybna Palace. He runs a piano class at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski State Music School of the First Degree in Tarnowskie Góry.
