M. Franczak - Sceny jesienne
Autumn Scenes, Op. 38, for cello and guitar, is a three-part work. The composition is programmatic in nature, with our beautiful Polish autumn serving as the connecting element between all three parts.
Part I: The Great Leaf Catch It is a sunny autumn day. I am walking in the park, among leaves shimmering with all colors. “What an infinity of colors! I feel like I am on a great coral reef. I am about to dive into it and catch the most beautiful... leaves.” I feel immense joy!
Part II “In the Land of Orange Pumpkins” A pumpkin field—the unusual shapes and forms remind me of a landscape from another planet. The hosts of this land invite me to join in the fun. Together, we set off in search of the queen—the Orange Pumpkin. Let's look for her together...
Part III “Mushroom music” “To hear mushroom music, you have to go into the forest at dawn and find the right place.
